“Drink wine, it’s what remains of the harvest of youth — the season of roses and wine and drunken friends. Be happy for this moment, this moment is your life,”
The Rubaiyat of Omar Khayyam

Sherana and Chris’ Grand Empire Reception was faithful to its name: it was grand, intimate, elegant and beautiful. We began the day with their getting ready photos at their respective homes, capturing the details which will accompany them through the day: his watch, her veil, his shoes, her bouquet, earrings and the shimmering bracelet.
Sherana added a poignant touch by placing a photograph of her grandmother inside of a small window on her bouquet, which you can see below. We felt it was a touching way to ensure her grandmother never left her side.
A special mention to Noor from Noor Artistry for the hair and make-up! Noor is not only fantastic at what she does, but is also a fabulous person! She’s invaluable to have in your corner on your wedding day.
We then headed to Chinguacousy Park in Brampton for a photo session before the reception. Their bridal party joined in the fun shortly after 🙂
Grand Empire reception events always deliver a space in which the bride and groom can get pretty creative with the decor, and this day was no exception. The elegant decor had an all-white foundation with drapes and luminescent crystals, with bursts of Sherana’s favourite pink, and a dash of green.
And yes, florals do make everything awesome.
That dress!
