Sabrina & Mansoor’s summery Toronto engagement photos get everything right about how beautiful the dusk light is in this city.
We began the shoot with them dressed in smart-casual, their colours subtle but still complementing the season. This small park in Toronto provided everything: water, the greens and bursts of red that ended up matching the pattern on her skirt (this was not planned, we promise).
The best moments in photography are the candid ones, when you just leave the two people in love do their thing, and you step back as a photographer and watch their natural chemistry, and magic, unfold. Sabrina and Mansoor made this oh-so-easy, as they already had chemistry going in spades. They look ridiculously cute together.
For every engagement session, we always recommend that our couples do an outfit & a location change, so this way you can kinda get two looks, rolled into one. It’s usually better to start the shoot off in a more casual outfit, and then change into something more formal, with a location to match.
For Sabrina & Mansoor, we swapped the leafy greens of the park to the classic architecture of Toronto’s Osgoode Hall, and she changed into a sweet blue dress, and he into a suit. These small changes altered the whole nature of the shoot, essentially giving them a second shoot, and more photos to choose from for their guestbook or enlargements for their home gallery wall, etc.
