Mirangi and Prince’s Hindu wedding at White Oaks Resort & Spa in Niagara-on-the-Lake was the kind of day that reminds you why you fell in love with weddings in the first place — elegant, sun-soaked, and unmistakably personal. As the founder of Rani Events, Mirangi is used to designing beautiful days for other couples, and it showed in every detail of her own: nothing overdone, everything intentional. Many of you already know Mirangi Patel from TikTok (@mirangipatel), where her warmth and wit have earned her a following far beyond the wedding industry — but no video quite captures how genuinely kind she and Prince are in person. That warmth set the tone for the entire celebration, from the first look on the garden bridge to the tear-filled vidai. Here’s how their day unfolded.

A glorious morning

We were able to bring Mirangi’s bridal mood board to life, channelling a bit of that @aliaabhatt wedding look inspiration. We love the variety of textures and range of ivories and soft golds in her whole look, perfectly complimented with kundan, pearls and that extra bit of magic from the morning light.

A First Look on the bridge
Every time we photograph at a venue we’re not familiar with, we get there a day or two earlier and scout the property for the best spots for photos. We’d already photographed at White Oaks previously, so were intimately familiar with the venue, and we absolutely love how the light hits the bridge in the morning. It’s also nestled away at the back of the resort, away from foot traffic, allowing for an intimate first look to take place.

An outdoor Mandap on the grass
The mandap was both structural and airy. Tall and open enough from all sides to let in lots of light and allowing the guests to view the ceremony, but also covered from the top to diffuse some of the sunlight. The gold trim and florals lent an elegant look, as the guests shaded themselves with parasols (a tip if you’re having an outdoor ceremony: not only should you get some parasols for your guests, but get plenty — your guests will thank you). Oh, and having paper fans also helps guests stay cool, along with drinks being passed around by members of staff.

The Baraat (or “jaan,” if you’re Gujarati).
If you’ve never been to a Gujarati baraat (“jaan”) before, especially at a wedding from the Swaminarayan community, you’ve been missing out on a serious party. Prince and his groomsmen rode in in an open-top Mustang, and stepped off for an incredible performance, before a round of Garba. And amidst all this, Mirangi made an entrance with a performance of her own with her bridesmaids. The baraat snaked itself slowly from the back of the White Oaks Resort, and towards the green grotto space, where the ceremony took place.

Ceremony & Vows Beneath a Floral Mandap: A Hindu Wedding at White Oaks Resort
Their outdoor Hindu ceremony was intimate, and filled with so much emotion. The space allowed us to get aerial views from a higher vantage point as the ceremony unfolded, and we loved getting close-ups of the candid, natural moments between the families.
